Please note, this guide serves as a helpful outline for configuring the Jasper Single Sign-On application in Okta. To complete the configuration process, it is necessary to reach out to hey@jasper.ai in order to obtain access to the Jasper SSO Admin Portal.

As part of the initial version (v1) of the Jasper SSO implementation, enabling single sign-on (SSO) for your account has a far-reaching impact. Once SSO is enabled, all other authentication methods will no longer work. Due to this crucial aspect, the Jasper Support and Security teams will closely collaborate with you, ensuring a seamless transition to SSO for your Jasper accounts. We're here to help every step of the way!

Step 2: Upload Identity Provider Metadata

The final step for setting up the Jasper AI Okta app requires sharing the integration's Identity Provider metadata.

  1. Click on the "Sign On" tab of the app you just added.
  2. Click the "Actions" dropdown for the active certificate and select “View IdP Metadata."
  3. A separate tab will open. Copy the URL from the new tab into the Jasper SSO admin portal provided by Jasper Support

Step 3: Test Single Sign-On

To activate Single Sign-On and verify that it was configured correctly, you will need to perform a test sign-in with your identity provider. This test is performed in the Jasper SSO Admin Portal.

When first running the test, you will encounter the following error. This is expected.

Please contact hey@jasper.ai to finish the SSO configuration and enable SSO for your Jasper account. Please check the guide's introduction for disclaimers regarding enabling SSO for your account.

Once Jasper Support has fully enabled SSO, select the “Retry sign-in” button and you will receive a success message along with the connection details.

Please contact hey@jasper.ai for any further support regarding your SSO configuration.
